My next event is the Haikou Classic on the PGA Tour China Series which was play at the Mission Hills Haikou Resort on the Sandbelt Trails course on the resort.
After a recent run of poor weather affecting events in China, we were fortunate enough to have better weather for this week. I had a really solid start, shooting a nice 3 under par 69 putting me in a nice position.
Round two got off to a nice start opening up with 2 birdies in the first 5 holes. From there unfortunately it was all downhill. I seemed to lose a little confidence in my swing and started putting some bogeys on the scorecard, eventually signing for a 6 over par 77 and missing the halfway cut by 2 shots.
I could feel a lot of strengths in my game but still a couple of things to work on clearly.
The next event is the Zhuzhou Classic in Zhuzhou located in Hunan Province.
