After a spending a week in Queenstown admiring the sites, I was ready to get back to work at the SEC NZ PGA Championship at the Pegasus Golf Resort.
The Pegasus Golf Resort is located just on the north side of Christchurch on New Zealand’s South island. The course was presented in fantastic condition and for anyone who is in the area, I recommend you try and get a game there.
Unfortunately my week was going to be a short one based on a rough first round of 5 over par, 77. This left me with a lot of work to do to try and make the cut. I put a nice round together in the 2nd round to shoot 3 under, but would miss the cut by 3 shots in the end and the weekend off.
My next event will be the ChongQing Championship in Chongqing China March 28th – 31 as the first event on the PGA Tour China Series.
