Landing back from the Philippines on Saturday gave me a couple of days at home to relax before flying to Brisbane on Tuesday morning for my next event, the Queensland Open, this event was played at the Brisbane Golf Club which was presented in excellent condition.
I opened the week with a steady round of 2 under par, followed by a reasonable second round of 1 over par in a moderate wind.
I played very solid in the third round and shot a 3 under par 68 to move into good position with one round to go. I would unfortunately struggle on the final day in strong winds and shot a disappointing 3 over par 74 and finished in a tie for 28th.
It was still reasonable tournament and gave me a few things to work on before the NSW Open next week at Twin Creeks.
