This West Australian swing started with a couple of pro ams at a some of Perth’s finest courses being Hartfield Golf Club and Cottosloe Golf Club for their respective pro ams.
Hartfield was presented in excellent condition and I had a nice round of 3 under par which was good enough for a tie for 4th place.
Over the weekend I played in the Cottosloe Open which is a slightly different format than most pro ams with 2 pros playing with an elite amateur in each group as well as a legend event in conjunction. It was my first time seeing the course and I was pretty pleased with rounds of 1 over and 1 under par respectively. I was particularly pleased with my second round as this was played in 40km/h wind and rain throughout the day. I finished at even par and a tie for 10th place.
