I am very pleased to say that I qualified through to the next stage of Web.Com Qschool. After a bit of a slow start with round of 74 and 73 I came home strong with a good round of 67 to make it through on the number. The fact that the course I was playing at in Brunswick, Georgia was being evacuated on the day of the last round with the impending Hurricane Irma only added to the tension in the air.
I am really pleased as there have been a lot of hours put in to my game over the past 3-4 weeks with only such a short preparation time which I could not have done without the support of the great members at Terrey Hills, so I would like to say a big thank you to everyone.
The next step will be the ‘First Stage’ which will be in early October but I am still waiting on final allocation of which site I will be given in the coming days. I now have the next 3 weeks to put some more time into my game and I have been fortunate enough to get some practice access at TPC Sugarloaf in Atlanta as well as Druid Hills Country Club also in Atlanta. No time to rest as I learned many lessons from last week and identified more areas that I need to improve
